About

Maharaja Guruvayoor
Tradition · Craft · Celebration

For over four decades, Maharaja Guruvayoor has been the address for weddings that matter — a place where ceremony meets quiet confidence, and every detail is considered.

Our story

A hall rooted in Guruvayoor.

Maharaja Guruvayoor was established in 1982, born from a simple belief: that a wedding venue should feel as sacred as the occasion itself. Located minutes from the Sree Krishna Temple, the centre was conceived as a space where families could gather without compromise — close to the temple, yet with every modern convenience.

The Darbar Hall, the first restored wing of the complex, reflects that vision. Warm wood, brass accents, and natural light define a room that feels both grand and intimate. Over the years, the hall has hosted thousands of celebrations, each one unique, yet all rooted in the same commitment to grace and attention.

Today, Maharaja Guruvayoor continues to be run by the same family, with the same quiet pride in craftsmanship and service. We do not stage weddings; we simply make sure the setting is worthy of the story.
